Boronia Drive Benowa
Green snakes and green frogs
A sign your garden is alive
Keep the cats away from it
So they can survive
I saw them every weekend
When I was just a kid
We searched around the garden
To see where they was hid
The frogs were all real slippery
Their skin was always wet
Getting peed on your hand
Was a definite sure bet
Green snakes were a little harder
But they still could be found
I remember plenty of them
Chasing my sister around
Green snakes and green frogs
Remind me of my youth
When life was a garden
All I knew was truth
