I love New Zealand

Land of the long white cloud

I know what Aotearoa means

And of the silver fern I am proud

All the good things about New Zealand

To me are really well known

I love my beautiful country

That’s why I call Australia home

I love my New Zealand

Land of the strong and proud Maori clan

Home of the pohutukawa and the paua

Where a woman is a woman and a man can be a man

The best wool in the entire world

On Kiwi grass, it is grown

The tastiest lamb on the planet

That’s why I call Australia home

I love my New Zealand

Land of athletes and many sporting tracks

Home of the all conquering and the mighty

Rugby Union’s great All Blacks

The best sportsman on the planet

In every field our competitive streak has shown

We’ve trophies in every sport

That’s why I call Australia home

I love my New Zealand

It’s the best country on the earth

I could sing her praises for hours

I would barely touch on her full worth

The best place to raise a family

The best place I have ever known

I truly love my country

That’s why I still call Australia home
